It clearly looks like Samsung will soon announce three new color options for its Galaxy S4 mini smartphone. Press renders of the new hues just leaked on the web, presenting the device in Blue Arctic, Brown Autumn, and Red Aurora. With their addition, the number of colors for the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will grow to a total of five, taking into account the White Frost and Black Mist variants. Samsung Galaxy S4 LCD Screen
The source of the leak does not specify when the three new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini colors are expected to be introduced. What markets are to get them isn't clear either. What's almost guaranteed, on the other hand, is that the red, blue, and brown variants of the smartphone will not undergo any changes under the hood, retaining the hardware specs of its black and white model. Samsung Galaxy S4 reportedly explodes and burns down a house in Hong Kong
A couple in Hong Kong suffered minor injuries after a Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone allegedly burst into flames and set a house on fire.
Chinese website Xianguo.com reports that a man named Du was playing a game on his Galaxy S4 when it exploded into flames, causing him to throw his phone, which landed on his couch, after which the device exploded and eventually the fire spread to the entire house.Samsung Galaxy S4 LCD Screen
The report further suggests that the man was using a genuine Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone and other accessories like charger and battery. The man also claims that the fire spread to his car as well.
Samsung Hong Kong has announced that it will be looking into the matter, and a chemical analysis of the charred remains should establish if it really came from a Samsung factory, as per the report.
Recently, Apple was in news as two similar incidents surfaced that claimed one life and injured another person. Ma Ailun, a 23-year-old woman from China's western Xinjiang region was electrocuted when she answered a call while her iPhone was getting charged. However, later it was reported that the woman may have been using a 'fake' charger.
Technology experts in China had then issued a warning about 'fake' chargers that are apparently rampant in use across the country. "Knockoff chargers sometimes cut corners," Xiang Ligang, a telecommunications expert reportedly told Chinese television. "The quality of the capacitor and circuit protector may not be good, and this may lead to the capacitor breaking down and sending 220 volts of electricity directly into the cell phone battery."
In another case, a 20-year-old Australian woman was hospitalised in Sydney after she got a shock from her iPhone.

Samsung: smartphone growth to slow in Q3
Competition is expected to reduce Samsung's smartphone growth in the third quarter, acording to Kim Hyun-joon, V.P. of Samsung's mobile business. The Korean manufacturer also told investors to expect a lower average selling price for the smartphones it sells in the current quarter as low to mid-range models become a larger part of Samsung's portfolio.Samsung LCD
While the Korean based tech giant did report a 50% increase in second quarter net income to a record 7.77 trillion won ($7 billion), smartphone margins were down, mostly due to higher expenses associated with increased marketing of the Android flagship Samsung Galaxy S4.
The tech titan's mobile communications sector, which includes handsets and other mobile communication equipment, accounted for 66% of total operating profit. The sector's operating profit rose 54% year-over-year, but showed a slight decline in growth sequentially with a 52% increase from Q1. Margins in the mobile communications group fell to 17.7% from 19.8% in the first quarter.
Despite weaker sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sammy is locked into some promotional decisions, like the $20 million deal it signed with Jay-Z. The company recently purchased 1 million digital copies of the rapper's new "Magna Carta Holy Grail" album and gave them away to 1 million Galaxy users three days before the album dropped. Investors aren't blind to the situation. Since the Samsung Galaxy S4 launched in April, Samsung's shares have dropped 12.8% wiping out $25 billion of the company's value.
There is still the Samsung Galaxy Note III for Samsung investors and fans to look forward to. The phablet is expected to have a 5.7 inchscreen and possibly include the new Samsung Exynos 5420 processor and 3GB of RAM. But just like the Samsung Galaxy S4 ran into increased competition this year from models like the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z, the Galaxy Note III will have to battle the 6.4 inch Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the HTC One Max. The Sony model has already been introduced and will launch in Taiwan at the end of this month.

Google Nexus 7 hands-on
With the leaks that came out ahead of the official announcement, one could argue that Google's thunder was stolen, and from a standpoint of understanding the specifications, pricing and availability, that is true.
However, there is "knowing" and then there is "holding it in your hands" which makes all the difference in the world. The new Nexus 7 is a great tablet to behold. We know that full HD displays are becoming commonplace, but the screen on the Nexus 7 is simply stunning.Nexus 7 LCD Screen
Moreover, one also really appreciate the stock Android experience when it is paired with powerful underpinnings. The quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon processor has absolutely no problem handling Android 4.3 and while it does not bring a super laundry list of changes, some features are no doubt going to be welcome, like solid battery performance courtesy of Project Roadrunner.
The Nexus 7 goes on sale next week, starting at just $229 for the 16GB model which is a fantastic price for the hardware involved.

HTC One Max coming to AT&T, HTC Zara to Sprint
A series of tweets from reliable leaker evleaks, informs us about a supposed destination for the HTC One Max as well as the carrier that has apparently landed a whole new HTC smartphone. First, let's talk about the HTC One Max. This is the device codenamed the T6 that is expected to be a phablet-sized version of the HTC One. The rumored specs include a 6 inch Super LCD3 screen with 1080 x 1920 (FHD) resolution. That works out to a 342ppi pixel density. A 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is under the hood while 2GB of RAM is on board. A very un HTC-like 3200mAh cell powers the model.HTC One LCD Screen
According to one of the tweets from evleaks, we will see the HTC One Max at AT&T. That doesn't mean it won't be available from other carriers, but what we know now is that it looks as though AT&T will be at least one of the mobile operators where the phone will be found.
The next handset mentioned by evleaks is the HTC Zara. This model, according to a tweet from evleaks, is a mashup of the HTC One and HTC Desire line. This handset, in yet another tweet from evleaks, is expected to be heading to Sprint. Surely we will hear more about this model, as well as the HTC One Max, as we get closer to the unveiling of these two HTC manufactured smartphones.

Samsung may be working on a 12.2-inch Android tablet
A couple weeks ago, we saw some leaked User Agent Profiles (UAProfs) for a trio of Samsung tablets. At the time, the data we had made us think that the UAProfs were showing the next generation of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 series devices; but, new evidence is showing that they may be a new set of devices with 12.2-inch displays.
We had seen UAProfs for Samsung tablets with model numbers: SM-P900, SM-P901, and SM-P905. The "P" in the model numbers tends to indicate that there won't be S-Pen support, and the devices were listed as having display resolutions of 2560x1600, which would seem to indicate something in the Galaxy Tab line, but it seems we may have been off on the screen size. We assumed 10.1, because that's all we've seen so far with a resolution that high, but an import/export database from India has the SM-P905 listed as having a 12.2-inch display. Samsung Galaxy S4 LCD Screen
A 12.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 would mean a pixel density of 247ppi, which is still pretty solid. And, it would fall in line with the lower price points that Samsung goes for with the Tab series devices.

Apple testing large screen iPhones and iPads
It looks like rumours pointing to Apple working on a large screen iPad got a little more credibility thanks to a new report by The Wall Street Journal.
The publication, which boasts of a pretty good record when it comes to rumours around the Cupertino giant, informs that the company is indeed testing larger screens for iPhones and iPads.
It cites officials at Apple's suppliers to report that the company has asked them to supply prototype smartphone screens larger than 4-inches and screen designs for a new tablet measuring slightly less than 13-inches diagonally.iPad 2 Parts
Of course, it's not new for Apple to test different devices in various form factors, and it's difficult to predict if any of the new devices will eventually make it to the production line. However, the rumours do indicate that Apple has acknowledged that there's demand for devices across all screen sizes.
Apple's biggest rival, the South Korean electronics giant, Samsung offers devices in a variety of screen sizes and form factors, with its flagship device, the Galaxy S4, also touching the 5-inch point. Meanwhile, Apple started offering a 4-inch iPhone, last year, increasing the screen size by 0.5-inch.
Apple's iPad features a 9.7-inch tablet while it also sells a smaller version of the tablet, the iPad mini that offers a 7.9-inch.
Previously, a South Korean publication had reported that Apple is working on a new larger iPad with a 12.9-inch diagonal screen that would be called iPad Maxi. The iPad variant is rumoured to launch in the first half of 2014 and would take on Ultrabooks. It was also pointed out that Apple would also target the educational market with digital textbooks with the tablet. The publication had cited industry sources to report that Apple was in talks with display and component manufacturers in Korea for supplies.
The Wall Street Journal also reports that Apple and its suppliers are prepping to ramp up production of the next generation iPad later this month, citing officials at component suppliers. It adds that the new version of the iPad will be the same size and feature the same resolution as the current 9.7-inch model, but will come with a lighter and thinner display structure as it will include touch sensors with a thin film in place of glass, used in existing iPads.
It also reports that Apple's suppliers have started mass producing components for the new iPhone and that Hon Hai Precision Industry/ Foxconn has been asked to get ready to ship new iPhones starting late August.

Samsung Galaxy S III that injured 18 year old girl exploded due to third party battery
Remember 18 year-old Fanny Schlatter? She is the Swiss teen who suffered severe burns as a result of a Samsung Galaxy S III that exploded in her pocket. You might recall that she was at her place of employment at the time, and that she had to have her pants cut to prevent further damage. As a result of the blast, Schlatter suffered third degree burns to her thigh, which we showed you in a particularly gruesome photograph. The phone itself had been melted beyond recognition.Samsung I9300 LCD
"The battery used in the device was not supplied or manufactured by Samsung or a company authorized by Samsung. Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research in Dübendorf Laboratory, corroborated this conclusion"-Mirjam Berger, spokesman,Samsung Switzerland
A report released on Friday by the EMPA Materials Science and Technology confirms a separate study done by Samsung and both reach the same conclusion. A third party battery that was not authorized by Samsung was responsible for the explosion and the subsequent damage. Not only does this absolve the Korean based manufacturer of any responsibility, it also means that if you stick with the the stock cell or an authorized replacement, you shouldn't live in constant fear that your Samsung Galaxy S III will blow up.

BlackBerry 10.2 error messages will be easy to decode
It used to be that trying to read a BlackBerry error message was like trying to read the instructions to that 20 speed bike you tried to put together for your kids a few years ago. Even in BlackBerry 10, error messages can pop up making it rather difficult to find what's really bothering your BlackBerry.mobile phone lcd
Now, the latest BlackBerry Knowledge Base report has been issued and it shows that BlackBerry will be setting up a separate site that will help those with BlackBerry 10.2 (once it is launched) be able to decipher the code that is being revealed to them on their handset. BlackBerry 10.2 will show 'Berry users a URL with an error code that leads to a menu allowing Berry users to find out what is ailing their Berry.
According to the Knowledge Base report, the issue would be resolved by having the phone in question connect to BlackBerry Link. The OS would revert back to factory settings, taking care of the issue. With BlackBerry 10.2, this all takes place with no muss and no fuss.

Motorola DROID Ultra for Verizon spotted wearing red
The reinvention of Motorola is nearly at hand as we get a peek at yet another
iteration of the famed DROID line-up. This time it is the DROID Ultra dressed in
red, showing off front and back poses.Cell Phone LCD
We have seen similar color schemes of the DROID RAZR in the past as Verizon employee only "Limited Editions" with serial numbers and everything. It looks as though Motorola is going to take the color mainstream and share with the rest of us.
Today's leak comes courtesy of @evleaks and while the rendering looks nice, we would not mind learning more about what makes this device tick. Verizon is holding a media event on July 23rd, and the speculation is that several new Motorolas will make their appearance at that time with a possible on-sale date of August 8th (or thereabouts).
What do you think? Is the color a nice change of pace for you?

Purported specifications of HTC One Max 6-inch full-HD smartphone appear online
It seems HTC is working on its first 6.0-inch device, the One Max. Online publication, mobilgeeks.de has revealed the leaked specifications of the device.
The rumoured specifications include a 6.0-inch 1080p display and a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics chip and 2GB RAM. The device will supposedly feature an UltraPixel rear camera that has been used in the HTC One, with a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and would pack a 3,300mAh battery. The device is likely to be available in two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB, though storage would not be expandable.HTC Touch screen
The report also claims that the device would be a dual SIM phone and would be LTE compatible. Much like its predecessors, the HTC One Max is also expected to come with Sense 5.0 UI layer on top of the Android operating system.
Looking at the sheer size of the rumoured HTC One Max, it is being speculated that it would be a serious rival to the Samsung's Note Series that has been doing well in terms of sales since its launch. If true, this would be the first phablet from the stable of HTC.
The Taiwanese handset giant has been rumoured to be expanding its 'One' series and the HTC One Max can be considered to be a part of this expansion.
The Mobilegeeks.de also claims that HTC is all set to release the One Max and One Mini in September. However, it is also being said that HTC has no plans to release any new phones this calendar year.HTC One LCD Screen
Earlier, HTC One Mini was spotted again in fresh photos with supposedly confirmed specifications. The HTC One Mini is rumoured to be powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 for graphics and 1GB RAM. It could sport a 4.3-inch 720p display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is also expected to feature the 4.0-megapixel UltraPixel camera found in the HTC One along with a 1.6-megapixel front camera. It would run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense 5.0 UI layer on top. The device will come with 16GB storage of which 12GB will be user-accessible.

BlackBerry A10 renders reveal removable back cover and side-loaded SIM slot
"Help" diagrams for the BlackBerry A10 Aristo have been leaked and the renders reveal that the left side of the device will feature a side-loaded SIM slot as well as hosting both the micro USB port and the HDMI-out port. Another diagram shows a removable back cover for the BlackBerry A10.That might not seem like a big deal, but many of today's flagship models seal in the cell. Even models that you would consider mid-range, like the Motorola DROID series, don't let you see the battery without using a special key to open the back.Cell Phone Touch Screen
Just because there is a removable battery door doesn't necessarily mean that the battery itself can be swapped. Especially since the 2800 mAh battery rumored to be powering the 5 inch 'Berry is supposedly going to be non-removable.
We've seen a series of leaks showing the back of the phone, the front of the phone and a video showing the device in action. As responsive as the UI looks, the A10 does not offer flagship-type specs. The resolution on the 5 inch screen is expected to be offer a resolution of 720 x 1280 with a dual-core processor and an 8MP rear-facing camera. The latest buzz around the water cooler is that the Canadian OEM is having problems squeezing enough battery life out of an FHD resolution.

Motorola hints that the camera on the Motorola Moto X will have a fast shutter speed
Last week we broke the story about a leaked Verizon road map which revealed an August 23rd launch date for the Motorola Moto X. With slightly more than 5 weeks left until that date, a Rogers video leaked on on Sunday, showing the phone in action. Another video leaked on Sunday showing a CPU test for the Moto X, running on the AT&T network.Cell Phone LCD
The leaks continued on Sunday with a tweet sent out from Motorola, showing a series of blurry pictures. The subject of the four pictures on the tweet is a precocious little kid and the caption reads, "Either this kid is really fast or today's phones are really slow." As we've been pointing out, the latest battlefield on today's smartphones is the camera. We've just seen Nokia introduce the top smartphone camera with the Nokia Lumia 1020, and Motorola's cameras have hardly been, well, snappy.
But that looks like it will change. The video from Canadian carrier Rogers about the Motorola Moto X that we showed you earlier Sunday revealed how the camera application opens on the device by twisting your hand back and forth. And based on the tweet, it seems that the camera on the Motorola Moto X is going to offer an extremely speedy shutter speed, fast enough to slow down and capture clearly on film a boy with a ton of Pixy Stix coursing through his veins. The most recent leaks call for a 10MP camera on the phone.

Samsung overtakes Apple in terms of mobile Internet usage
According to a new report by web analytics firm StatCounter, users accessing the Internet from Samsung phones account for 25.47 percent, overtaking iPhone users by a difference of less than 1 percent. Internet usage from iPhones was at 25.09 percent, followed by usage from Nokia users at 21.96 percent and from BlackBerry users at 3.62 percent.
It's worth pointing out that these figures are based on a sample methodology. The StatCounter code is installed on more than 3 million websites globally that allows them to track usage. According to the company these sites cover various activities and geographic locations and record over 15 billion page views to these sites, every month.Apple Parts
Last year, Nokia led the pack in terms of mobile Internet usage from its phones, registering a usage of 28.05 percent, followed by Apple which saw usage of 25.43 percent and Samsung on 19.46 percent.
This essentially indicates that Internet usage from Samsung phones witnessed a rise of almost 6 percent implying that more Samsung users are browsing the web from their devices. Most Samsung smartphones are powered by Google's Android operating system.
It's worth pointing out that in countries such as UK and US, Internet usage from iPhones is still more than usage from Samsung phones. While 54.84 percent of all mobile Internet usage in the US was from iPhones, only 18.3 percent was from Samsung phones. Even in the UK, Apple leads with a usage share of 47.97 percent while Samsung's share was 20.45 percent.
In terms of mobile browsers, Android leads with a share of 29.06 percent, followed by Safari (iPhone and iPod touch only) which had a share of 24.98 percent. Opera was in the third place registering a share of 16.06 percent. Chrome for Android's share was 3.23 percent.
Talking about mobile operating systems, the report reveals that Internet usage from Android was at 37.93 percent, followed by iOS which was at 25.09 percent and Nokia's Series 40 platform at 13.43 percent. Windows Phone's share was still pretty low at 1.4 percent, behind BlackBerry which was at 3.46 percent.

Telefonica to get exclusive 64GB Nokia Lumia 1020 for European and Latin-American markets
In a few short hours we will be learning what Nokia and presumably AT&T have up their sleeve for the device codenamed "Elvis." The Nokia Lumia 1020 (perhaps you know it by another noms de guerre, like EOS, Eros, Nokia 909, et al, take your pick) will land in the US at least sporting a familiar 32GB storage capacity like its Lumia 920 and Lumia 928 cousins.
Of course the device is all about the camera, and taking photos with the settings maxed out will take up huge amounts of space. Since the device will not accept microSD cards, users will need to have a plan in place with cloud storage as well as backing items up on their main computers.Nokia LCD
One way to get some breathing room with such a beast of a camera is to have copious amounts of storage and it looks like Telefonica's brands in Europe and Latin-America will have exclusive dibs on just that, a 64GB Nokia Lumia 1020. The device will launch in September and be an exclusive for customers of Movistar, Vivo, and O2 through the remainder of 2013.
Telefonica's press release calls the device the Nokia Lumia Eros, and is part of a global agreement between Nokia and Spain based global carrier to be announced on July 11th. The release states:
"Telefónica today announced a global agreement with Nokia to sell Nokia Eros 64 Gb exclusively to Movistar, Vivo and O2 customers in Telefonica markets during 2013. The smartphone will be launched this September.
This announcement is part of the Telefónica strategy to reinforce the smartphone portfolio and increase the ecosystem offer for their customers. Telefónica will actively promote Nokia Lumia Eros 64Gb, as part of Telefónica iconic smartphone offering.
Nokia Lumia Eros brings stunning innovations only found in the SLR cameras so far, like a 41 Mpixel sensor, 6 lenses, and high resolution zoom. Taking excellent photos has never been so easy, as complex settings are turned into easy adjustments with immediately visible results.
Eros 64Gb, for Telefónica customers, will have more than double capacity than the Eros standard version, extending the capability for customers to store large amount of content, up to 4,000 images or 6 hours of very high quality Full-HD video.Nokia ASHA 305 LCD
…of Telefónica, said "Telefonica is firmly committed to deliver the best and exclusive experiences to our customers as part of our connected smartphones offering. This moves us one step ahead, and reinforces our leading position in front of the consumers looking for the best proposals."

New images leak of colorful budget iPhone, iPhone 5S
Over the past several weeks, we've witnessed a number of leaks coming in from what appear to be Apple's manufacturing partners, revealing the company's upcoming hardware in various states of assembly. For a while now, much of that has focused on the flagship iPhone 5S, but we've also started seeing evidence arrive of the rumored budget iPhone; just last week we looked at an image that appeared to reveal such hardware in three different colors. We build off of that find today, with a new picture showing the phone in a couple additional shades, as well as another leak of the 5S.iPhone 5 LCD
In addition to the yellow, red, and green we saw last time, here we get the budget iPhone in blue and a more traditional-looking white. While what we see mostly matches last week's pic, this selection may be at a different stage in the manufacturing process, as the handsets appear to be backed by protective transparent plastic sheets that were previously lacking.
As for the 5S – well, we've already seen the phone in more complete states of assembly than this, so it's a bit less of an exciting find, and maybe more than anything another reminder of how comparatively little will be changing with the look of the 5S, compared to the iPhone 5.

Apple may launch fifth-generation iPad in September, iPad mini plans undecided
Apple is expected to launch the fifth-generation iPad in September while it is said to be still finalizing plans for the iPad mini, a new report claims.
According to DigiTimes, the Cupertino-based company will launch its fifth generation 9.7-inch iPad in September. It is being speculated that besides Retina Display, the fifth-generation iPad may also feature a slim bezel design that would allow a larger viewing area. Other improvements may include better battery life thanks to the single LED tube that would replace two being used earlier. Other than that, no major spec boosts are expected in the new iPad. The report affirms that the suppliers have not yet received any mass-production schedule form Apple and the current pilot production schedule should be able to fulfill the initial demand for the device at launch.iPad Parts
The next generation iPad mini may receive a specifications upgrade, according to sources from the upstream supply chain, notes DigiTimes. Apple is said to be in two minds on whether to include Retina Display in the device or not. If Retina Display is being used in the 7.9-inch iPad mini then it could push back the release to the end of fourth quarter. Additionally, Apple has asked its supply channels to further shrink the bezel of the new iPad mini, just to push for a bezel-less design, similar to that of Samsung and HTC big-sized smartphones claims the report.iPad Mini Parts
Last year, Apple launched both the fourth-generation iPad and the first iPad mini at the same event in October. However, an update to the 9.7-inch iPad was done six months prior when the company launched the third generation variant, the first to ship with high-resolution Retina Display.

HTC Butterfly S goes on sale in some stores in the US, Taiwan
The HTC Butterfly S is HTC's second flagship in a short period of time and it's already on sale. Those early prices are not cheap but only a few stores even offer it officially.
One we found is Overseas Electronics – the Butterfly S is available in Black, Grey, White and Red and is priced $850 (US only shipping).
Another store, Negri Electronics, has put it up on pre-order for $770, but unfortunately there's no indication of when it will actually ship.HTC ONE X LCD
Ebay, of course, also has a few offers for the Butterfly S but they are even pricier – one from Taiwan is priced at $900. Speaking of Taiwan, you can find it for about $765 there (NT$ 22,900) in at least three stores.
The HTC Butterfly S packs a 5" 1080p screen, BoomSound speakers (two on the front), Android 4.2 with Sense 5 and Blinkfeed, Snapdragon 600 chipset (quad-core Krait 300 at 1.9GHz, 2GB RAM, Adreno 320 GPU), UltraPixel camera (no OIS) and Zoe, plus a microSD card slot and a massive 3,200mAh battery.

Alleged images and video of budget Apple iPhone emerge
A slew of alleged images and video footage of Apple's much talked about budget iPhone made an appearance on the web. The photos look in line with the leaked colored shells from last week.
The images reveal a svelte-looking handset with a 4" display, made of polycarbonate. Despite its plastic nature however, the budget iPhone is said to be impressively well put together.iPhone 5 lcd
Curiously, the photos come courtesy of a well-known Chinese manufacturer of knock-off devices called Techdy, so we urge you to process them with a pinch of salt. Techdy already has on offer an Android booting copy of the device you see above, sporting a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC, priced at an eye-popping $199.

New HTC One mini photos leak
HTC One mini has been around for quite some time even though it's not officially announced yet. The smaller sibling of the One flagship features a 4.3" 720p display and a dual-core Snapdragon chipset.
We already saw live pictures of the HTC One mini twice. We also got an official render and a few confirmations of its existence from different organizations.
Today we got another portion of live photos. They reveal no additional details to those we already knew.
HTC One mini is expected to pack 2GB of RAM, a 4MP UltraPixel camera, 16GB internal storage and Beats Audio enhancement. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0 UI should tick inside.
The recently announced HTC Desire 200 also got the hands-on treatment. It looks like a miniature version of the One flagship but is far less capable. It runs on a single-core 1GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM. Because of the dated hardware the Desire 200 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich skinned with the older HTC Sense UI 4.0. You should not expect Jelly Bean for the Desire 200.HTC LCD

Samsung has shipped 20 million Galaxy S4 units already
Despite reports (which were denied) of Samsung cutting down orders for Galaxy S4 parts, the company's flagship is selling very well – Yonhap News is reporting that the tech giant had shipped 20 million units by the end of June. The Galaxy S4 hit the 10 million mark in late May, so it appears the demand isn't slowing down at all.
Its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S III took about 100 days to get to 20 million, so the galaxy S4 is selling 1.7 times faster. This speed reportedly put the Galaxy S4 at the #1 position in shipments for Q2 this year. Analysts have predicted that the S4 will sell 80 million units this year, beating the 60 million achievement of the Galaxy S III.Samsung LCD
There's a souped up version of the Galaxy S4 that came out recently, the Galaxy S4 LTE-A with a Snapdragon 800 chipset and LTE-Advanced connectivity. It's available only in South Korea for now, but we wonder how it will affect sales numbers if it sees a worldwide release.

Sony C906 'Honami' system dump reveals new UI
Yesterday, we saw some leaked images of the upcoming Sony Xperia handset, known for now by the codename ‘Honami’. Now, a system dump of the device has surfaced, which reveals some details about the hardware and showcase some of the new UI changes.
For starters, the phone seemingly runs on a Snapdragon 800 processor, has a 20 megapixel sensor and can record 4K videos in 4000 x 2000 resolution. The last spec seems interesting even though the aspect ratio is unusual.
Other than that, there are several changes to the UI on the phone. You can see a new clock, calendar, calculator and contacts apps. You can now place multiple Small Apps on screen at once and there is a new keyboard as well. Sony also seems to have added a new augmented reality app.mobile phone lcd
